The Story of the Book

The authors of Cocktails at Naptime Gillian Martin and Emma Kaufmann met over the Internet through their enormously popular blog sites, The Misssy M Misssives and Mommy Has a Headache. After exchanging mutually admiring emails they decided to write a book together. Many more emails and several gallons of Chardonnay later, Cocktails at Naptime was born. Emma is based in Baltimore, USA and is the author of Confessions of a Cake Addict. Gillian lives in Aberdeen, Scotland, and is a freelance writer , college lecturer and sometime radio film critic. They both have two children and very understanding husbands.

They have never met in person.
